FUBUKI is a brand with an unusual origin story. It all started when Swede Kalle Norman went on a ski trip to Hokkaido in Japan – one of the snowiest places in the world – and discovered the lightweight, colorful winter boots that all the locals and lifties were wearing. He brought a pair home to Stockholm, and the reaction was immediate: everyone wanted a pair.

Together with his childhood friend Christofer Ljunggren, Kalle officially founded FUBUKI in 2019. Today, the boots are sold in over 300 stores in 14 countries – and the brand is still run by the two friends themselves.

FUBUKI's signature model is named after the Japanese ski resort and developed to withstand even the harshest winter conditions. Weighing just a few hundred grams and with impressive insulation capabilities, it is ideal for cold days in the city, ski trips, and long walks in the snow. And no – they are not boring.
