A Mother and Daughter's Shared Dream

O’TAY is a Danish cashmere brand founded in 2019 by Stephanie and Vivian Seedorff – mother and daughter. The story begins in a small Danish town, where the two agreed to realize their shared dream: a fashion universe focusing on luxurious fashion for women of all ages. Today, O’TAY is a recognized and well-established brand with over 100 retailers in Scandinavia, as well as a Flagship Store.

Quality, transparency, and humanity are keywords behind the business. Stephanie has even moved to the East to be close to production and ensure good working conditions – far from her mother Vivian, but close to what they both believe in.

The Story Behind the Name

When Stephanie was little, she had difficulty pronouncing the letter 'k' – and "okay" often became "O’TAY". When mother and daughter had to find the perfect name for their shared brainchild, there was no doubt: of course, the fashion brand had to be named after Stephanie's cute speech impediment, which had often been a topic of conversation at home. All other name suggestions seemed insignificant in comparison.
