M•W – Haute Couture Soul Meets Scandinavian Aesthetics

M•W is a women's ready-to-wear collection designed by Michala Wiesneck in Copenhagen, founded in 2015. The collection reinterprets wardrobe classics for the 21st century – reworked classics like the bomber jacket and the white shirt combined with strong Scandinavian aesthetics and exclusive handmade prints, all designed in the Copenhagen-based design studio.

Each garment offers a fresh balance of contrasting elements – past and future, masculine and feminine, strength and softness, structure and fluidity – while embodying a signature sensuality and lightness. The ordinary is replaced with the unexpected.

A Designer with the World as Her Workspace

Michala Wiesneck was born into an artistic family and grew up with a suitcase always packed and ready – she lived in India, Nepal, and France, among other places. Her next step was Paris, where she studied at the legendary Chambre Syndicale de Haute Couture Parisienne and worked for Christian Lacroix and Cacharel. After 10 years in Paris, she returned home to Copenhagen, where she led the creative vision at Inwear, Day, and Esprit in Amsterdam.

With a 360° vision of the fashion industry – from haute couture to prêt-à-porter – her next journey was to launch her own brand, where her adventurous and creative personality daily inspires dresses, jackets, and blouses in the M•W collection.
