Coffee Beanies - Ida Knit - Striped Black/beige - Onesize

the striped knit is an essential part of Coffee Beanies' range of basics. Hand-knitted (of course) with beautiful raglan shoulders. Light and airy in brushed alpaca wool from Italy.

The Ida knit is knitted by women in Burundi as part of "Work as the solution". Surrounded by her children, the woman can earn enough from home to provide food for her entire family for a whole week by creating it. Each knit is therefore completely unique and may vary slightly from one to another. The African craftsmanship is the very foundation of Coffee Beanies' identity.

Quality: Alpaca is the best source of wool. It is gentle on its environment, drinks very little water, and eats only the tips of twigs over a large area. The wool is the most temperature-regulating wool. So it is perfect for our changeable weather. At the same time, it can hold water up to 40% of its own weight without losing its ability to keep you warm. The yarn for the sweaters is brushed wool with alpaca wool and sheep wool, as well as some polyamide or nylon to give the products durability for many uses.

Size: medium. The knitters aim for the following measurements: 55 cm wide and 54 cm long. The sleeves are slightly longer than standard.
