Laboratory Perfumes - Samphire - Eau de Toilette - 100ml

The scents we create at Laboratory Perfumes often begin with a single aroma. In the case of Samphire, it was a young verbena leaf plucked from a friend's garden on a spring day. The aroma was so strikingly fresh that we decided to find a way to capture its crisp citrusy rush for our third fragrance.

We crushed a sprig of verbena with a pinch of juniper from the spice rack – and Samphire began to take shape. From kitchen to lab, we blended citrus oil, hints of lavender, basil, and rosemary, plus base notes of white amber and oakmoss to create a bright, cool, aromatic fragrance with a lightness that belies its complexity and staying power on the skin. The finished scent was so clearly evocative of the seashore that we could only call it Samphire.
