Nathalia MINI Vest is a cute waistcoat decorated with beautiful suzani embroidery made in Sissel Edelbo's beautiful 'hearts & LOVE' design. The waistcoat has two front pockets and two sets of tie strings at the front placket. All edges are covered with matching cotton tape and the jacket is fully lined with block-printed cotton lining. This Suzani item is not only filled with beautiful colours - the embroidery is also handmade. The Suzani embroidery is made by Indian artisans who use the tambour to create a unique and vibrant Suzani embroidery pattern. The name "Suzani" comes from the Persian word "su-zan", meaning needle. The Indian artisans use a hooked needle instrument called a tambour to create the intricate chain stitches characteristic of Suzani embroidery.
