The Clio MINI Skirt is a charming skirt made from waffle-textured cotton. The skirt is beautifully decorated with colourful Suzani embroidery, including motifs of a horse, flowers and a yin-yang symbol placed on the front and back.
This Suzani embroidered item is decorated with the manually controlled chain stitch technique of Suzani embroidery. Our Suzani embroidery is made by Indian artisans who mostly use the tambour hook to create a unique and vibrant Suzani embroidery pattern. The name "Suzani" comes from the Persian word "su-zan", meaning needle. The Indian artisans use a hooked needle instrument called a tambour to create the intricate chain stitches that are characteristic of Suzani embroidery. Due to the manually controlled nature of Suzani embroidery, you may notice small variations from one garment to another, which adds to the unique charm of a Suzani-decorated item.1-2 years:
